At the Berkeley Recycling Center on the corner of Second and Gilman Streets, CCC operates recycling drop-off and buyback for the public.

The Buyback pays for certain recyclables that you bring to the buyback center at Second and Gilman Streets. See Buyback to learn which materials will be purchased, as well as current prices. See Materials Prep to learn how to prepare your materials before you arrive at the scales.

The drop-off center - where you can "drop off" your recyclables is also at the Buyback. Enter the main Buyback gate on Second Street and turn left to find the drop-off bins for recycling your materials. MRF Processing: CCC also contracts with the City of Berkeley to operate a Materials' Recovery Facility (MRF) that sorts and upgrades all recyclables collected in Berkeley. See Processing to find out what happens to your materials after you deliver them to CCC.

Accounts Program : CCC sponsors an Accounts Program that allows you to raise money for yourself or a cause of your choice! Register for an account at the Buyback and ask your friends and associates to donate the sale of their recyclables to your account. Then get a check every month!!
